CAREERS IN DIVING
Waikiki Dive Center is a PADI Five Star Instructor Development Center. We offer certification courses from PADI Open Water Diver through becoming a PADI Instructor, all at affordable prices. We take pride in continuing education and helping amazing divers begin their careers with us. Class schedules are flexible and custom tailored to your needs. There are even daily Discover Scuba Diving experiences for beginners who just want to give scuba diving a try. Hop on either one of our USCG certified dive vessels for daily wreck and reef dive charters in two locations on Oahu!

CERTIFICATIONS
PADI Open Water Diver

- The PADI Open Water Diver course is, by far, the world’s most popular scuba certification course. Millions of people have started diving as certified PADI Open Water Divers. Learning to scuba dive requires both knowledge development (facts, principles and concepts) and dive skills (techniques and methods). The PADI Open Water Diver Course online provides the knowledge development portion you need.
- This course requires three sessions with us: confined beach morning session (7:15am-10:15am) and two afternoon sessions (10:15am to around 3-3:30)

PADI Open Water Referral
Course Details- The PADI Open Water Referral course is for those who have completed their confined water portion of the PADI Open Water Diver course and are looking to finish those four open water dives with us! Although we are a Five Star PADI Dive Center, we accept referral forms from other scuba dive agencies as well.
- This course requires two afternoon sessions with us beginning at 10:15am and ending around 3-3:30pm

PADI Advanced Open Water

- The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver online segment includes knowledge development for the two required topics (Deep and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dives), along with five of the most popular elective dives: Night Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Diver, Boat Diver and Underwater Naturalist.
- This course requires three sessions with us: at least one morning session (7:15am to around noon), and two other sessions, either morning or afternoon (10:15am to around 3-3:30)

Emergencey First Response

- CPR and First Aid
- This course includes: BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), preventing and caring for shock, spinal injury management, reducing disease transmission and basic first aid.

PADI Rescue Diver

- The PADI Rescue Diver course consists of an introduction followed by five easy-to-learn sections. The course includes: The Psychology of Rescue, Recognizing Diver Stress, Accident Management, Assisting Responsive and Unresponsive Divers at the Surface and Underwater, Equipment Problems, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Missing Diver Procedures, Responding to Diver Emergencies and In-Water Rescue Breathing.

PADI Divemaster

- The PADI Divemaster course is the first professional level within the PADI System. This certification allows you to work as a training assistant on PADI courses and programs, supervise certified divers during pleasure diving experiences and conduct some PADI programs independently.

- The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is the cornerstone of PADI’s professional-level training. Becoming a PADI Instructor consists of these segments – knowledge development, practical application and the Instructor Examination. The online portion of the course covers nine topics which prepare you for the practical sessions needed to complete your Assitant Instructor or Open Water Scuba Instructor course.
